Karen Ehman’s Bible study and DVD set perfectly accompanies her new book, Listen, Love Repeat. Her story about listening to the “heart drops” of others around us has been visually complied into a six session DVD and Bible study set. With each session Ehman encourages listeners to become “other-centered”; people who focus more on the needs and desires of others rather than themselves.
I love the session titles, they let in imagination and spirituality.
“Finding Your Big ‘Why'”
“Let Love Complete the Circle”
“When You Live a Life of Welcome”
“How to Hug a Porcupine and Squeeze a Skunk”
“The Boomerang of Blessing”
Come on, don’t you totally want to know how to hug a porcupine and squeeze a skunk?
Ehman’s sweet presentation style feels like sipping a cool glass of lemonade. Kind, sweet and refreshing.
The Bible study is jam-packed with questions, scripture, memory verses, personal challenges and prayers. I really like the activity on pages 48 and 49. In this activity she challenges the reader to practice speaking a hard truth to someone without being hurtful or snippy. Not an easy challenge!! But a good one! It is a brave challenge, and that is why I like it.
My extra copy of this great book, Bible study and DVD are already gone…. but please don’t let this book set pass you by.
Check it out….
